- Deliver Meals on Wheels
- Friendly Visiting
- Assist with Blood Donor Clinics
- Snow Removal
- Fall Yard Clean-up
- Assist with Income Tax Returns
- Assist Seniors filling out forms for Canada Pension Plan, Guaranteed Income Supplement, Alberta Seniors Benefit, Special Needs Assistance Program and Personal Directives
- Supply Tools for School
- Community Garden
- Assist with events hosted by Ponoka FCSS
A full information package is available (see link below) that describes the mission statement for the Ponoka FCSS Volunteer Program, its' goals and objectives and related policies and procedures on how to become a volunteer. The package also contains the forms that need to be completed. The forms include an application form, a confidentiality agreement, a criminal record check (no charge), volunteer gift policy agreement, an insurance release form and two reference checks.
